Collection: Hot Water Bottles for Sleeping Problems and Insomnia
Hot water bottles and microwave body warmers are great for getting your body into sleep mode. They are believed to promote blood circulation, enabling the body to relax and the local area to become less tense.
We recommend placing a hot water bottle or microwaveable body warmer under your blanket at least 5 to 10 minutes before you intend to sleep. Once you are ready to enter it is advisable to remove hot water bottles first. It is dangerous to fall asleep with a hot water bottle in the same bed.
Alternatively, if you feel that you can't sleep because it is too hot, you can place the hot water bottle or body warmer in the freezer for a few hours before placing it under the covers for 5-10 minutes. Once you are ready to sleep it is again advisable to remove the product first.
